    Before joining the private sector, Noma spent 10 years working in local government with a focus on drainage master planning and design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain management, technical and regulatory review, and asset management. She has a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and enjoys integrating GIS with engineering principles to conduct in-depth analyses and develop effective solutions for a wide range of projects.

    Randy brings extensive experience as a professional engineering consultant focusing on wastewater conveyance and water distribution projects for various utilities throughout the US.  He has managed projects, both small and large, through planning, condition assessment, engineering design, and construction phases.  His experience spans both the development of new systems as well as work in the rehabilitation of existing systems.  Randy has worked as an internal operations manager and enjoys building relationships with clients.  He holds professional engineering licensure in multiple states, including Nebraska and Iowa.

    After several years of helping private clients with land development projects, Adam went into public service with the City of Omaha and spent over a decade with the Public Works Department.  With the city, he came to lead and manage the CSO Program, along with other collection systems and stormwater capital improvement programs.  Adam’s experience in this role brings an owner’s perspective to Embris. Understanding an owner’s needs go far beyond just the design and construction of a project, but also include long term operation, maintenance, and life-cycle considerations.

    Kylie brings a wealth of experience in public and private civil engineering projects to Embris.  From designing sewer separation projects to tackling complex levee and stormwater issues, Kylie has become a trusted partner for her clients.  Kylie’s design expertise was relied upon to develop a wastewater collection system design manual for the City of Omaha. She also brings great experience in site development and site civil projects.  Kylie has worked with a number of architects to support local building projects, leading the design of drainage, paving, and utility improvements.

    Although her engineering skills are definitely a work in progress (why we ever thought that dogs would be the answer to the engineering workload issue is a topic for another day), Maggie excels at Embris in many other ways. She is the friendly face and wagging tail that greets our staff. She is a team player who promotes a positive and uplifting atmosphere within the office through her playful demeanor and affectionate interactions. She keeps an eye on the office and conducts regular patrols which are rewarded with numerous head scratches and belly rubs. This is all obviously exhausting work, and she has adapted well to Embris’ flexible schedule providing her numerous opportunities for naps and play breaks throughout the day.
